3. Translate user stories into technical delivery and own workstreams within your squad.
4. Build and maintain a cutting-edge Data Platform using the Azure suite.
5. Deliver high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with governance and compliance standards.
6. Support operational processes with monitoring and alerting for reliability.
7. Guide analysts on interfacing with platform technologies and help build data capability across the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
Essential:
8. Strong understanding of cloud data platforms and storage (ideally Azure).
9. Proven hands-on experience in Data Engineering.
10. Excellent SQL skills (functional and non-functional).
11. Knowledge of data integration and workflow tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory).
12. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and source control
Desirable:
13. Skills in Python, Spark, C#, or similar languages.
14. Proactive, flexible, and able to prioritise effectively.
15. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
16. Attention to detail and accuracy.
