The role
We are seeking an experienced IT Trainer to join our IT department on a part-time contract basis, 2-3 days per week. This role is central to supporting our digital transformation and ongoing learning initiatives, ensuring our people are confident and capable in using our core systems and tools.
You’ll work closely with the Education and Change team to deliver engaging, accessible training that meets the needs of legal professionals and business services staff.
Role responsibility
1. Schedule, manage, and facilitate live and virtual training sessions, including new hire inductions.
2. Design and deliver training sessions (in-person, virtual, and on-demand) on core applications such as Microsoft 365, document management systems, and legal-specific platforms.
3. Support organisational-wide implementation of new technologies through tailored learning interventions.
4. Develop clear, user-friendly learning resources.
5. Run drop-in clinics and one-to-one coaching to support individual learning needs.
6. Collaborate with IT and Change teams to align training aligns with organisational needs.
7. Gather feedback and evaluate training effectiveness to continuously improve delivery.
About you
8. Proven experience delivering IT training in a professional services or legal environment.
9. Strong working knowledge of iManage Work, Intapp Time, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 and document drafting and styling solutions.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage learners at all levels.
11. Experience creating accessible learning content for diverse audiences.
12. Ability to work independently and manage multiple training streams.
13. Experience supporting change programmes or digital transformation initiatives (desirable but not essential)
14. Familiarity with Litera drafting tools, eLearning authoring platforms and Camtasia (desirable but not essential)
