Key Responsibilities
Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate records and reconciliations
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Running end-to-end payroll for a variety of businesses, including pensions and HMRC submissions
Supporting clients with day-to-day queries and building strong working relationships
Using leading accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and Sage
Assisting colleagues with ad hoc accounting tasks and contributing to a collaborative team environment
Essential Skills
Previous experience in bookkeepingand payroll administration
AAT qualification (or working towards) or equivalent experience
Familiarity withaccounting and payroll systems
Strong communication skills written and verbal
A proactive, flexible, hands-on approach with great attention to detail
