Normans provide a fully comprehensive range of products and materials to the building industry in Jersey and are on the hunt for a Site Director to lead one of our branches in Jersey! As a Site director you will create and lead an engaged and high-performing site that delivers fast, focused & fantastic customer and operational service; continually exceeding customer expectations, delivering profitable growth and building the reputation of Normans. What You’ll Be Doing Play a key role on the Normans Executive Team to deliver sales and profit growth, strong corporate reputation and community initiatives. Drive and embed change across the branch by modernising processes, systems, and team behaviours to deliver a sales focused business with customers at the heart of everything we do. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Monitor inventory processes and collaborate with the commercial function to reduce working capital whilst delivering cost effective, accurate and timely order fulfilment. Ensure effective and efficient management of logistics, in line with company procedures. Lead and manage the team ensuring high levels of collaboration, engagement and motivation. Ensure all company policies and procedures are complied with and every opportunity is taken to safeguard the Company’s stock, money, assets and reputation. Proactively collaborate with other Normans site(s) to create a ‘one team’ approach to the Jersey market. Strong communication and commercial awareness to be able to empower the team to provide great customer service Previous leadership experience within building materials distributor is preferred Enthusiasm - Positivity and unyielding passion for the merchant world.
