Head of Hockey and Cricket
Location: Gordon’s School, West End, Surrey
Overview
We are seeking an innovative and ambitious leader to support our extensive and vibrant sports programme. This is a non‑teaching appointment responsible for the leadership of two major sports.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the hockey and cricket programmes across the school.
* Develop and implement sporting strategies, working closely with coaches and students.
* Support the development of an on‑site sports hub, including a new sports hall, fitness suite and second all‑weather pitch.
* Collaborate with pastoral staff to integrate sport with broader student wellbeing.
Qualifications
* Experience leading sports programmes in a boarding or state school setting (desirable but not essential).
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* Ability to work within a school context with a focus on student development.
* Right to work in the UK; work permit sponsorship not available.
