Graduate Analyst – Climate & Sustainability Consultancy

Educational and Experience Requirements

To be eligible you must have less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements) and hold a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or be expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:

* Carbon Management
* Climate Change
* Engineering Discipline
* Environmental Management
* Mathematics
* Planning
* Sustainability


Visa and Sponsorship Notice

Mott MacDonald Ltd. is not currently offering sponsorship for the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK. We cannot accept applications from candidates who would be working under the Graduate visa route or other time‑limited visas. We welcome applications from candidates eligible for alternative immigration routes that do not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route now or in the future.


What You’ll Bring

* Understanding and awareness of at least one of the following: carbon accounting and management processes; sustainability and climate change issues.
* Familiarity with data analytics and digital technologies.
* A methodical and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* A passion for teamwork, integrity and continuous learning.


Your Role

* Support global projects that deliver infrastructure decarbonisation, climate resilience and sustainability performance across sectors such as transport, water, energy, buildings and infrastructure investment.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions that meet client objectives.
* Prepare high‑quality written deliverables and maintain accurate project documentation.
* Participate in our three‑year early careers soft‑skills development programme and receive mentoring from a senior professional.
