As a Cover Supervisor, youll be in charge of overseeing pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. Its a great way to gain firsthand experience of what its like to work in a classroom, manage students, and support their learning.
What Youll Do:
* Supervise classes and ensure students remain on task with their work
* Support students during lessons, helping with any questions or difficulties
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
* Follow the lesson plans left by the teacher to ensure continuity of learning
* Assist students in staying focused and engaged during lessons
What Were Looking For:
* A recent graduate (any degree subject)
* Passion for education and helping young people succeed
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to confidently manage groups of students
* Flexibility, reliability, and enthusiasm for the role
* No formal teaching qualification required, but experience working with young people is a plus!
