About The Role
You will work within the Children’s Speech and Language Therapy service to support children with a wide range of speech, language and communication problems, including those with formal Additional Support for Learning plans. You will be based in Dundee but will work flexibly across NHS Tayside in schools, community settings and health settings, travelling between sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver speech and language therapy to children in various settings.
* Plan and implement individualized therapy and support for children with additional needs.
* Work collaboratively with schools, community agencies and other health professionals.
* Support attainment in nurseries and schools through universal and targeted models.
* Provide clinical input to multidisciplinary teams and support families.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered on the HCPC Register.
* Experience working with young children and understanding of disability and additional needs.
* Ability to travel flexibly across NHS Tayside.
Hours & Working Pattern
Hours of work are 37 per week. From 01 April 2026, the full‑time working week will reduce to 36 hours but pay will remain unchanged.
