Our client, a leading organisation in the civil engineering sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Site Agent to join their team at Sizewell C in Leiston, Suffolk. This position offers a permanent role within a high-profile project, demanding a strong emphasis on health, safety, environment, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Providing strong, visible, proactive leadership in health, safety, environment, and quality standards Contributing to safety targets and promoting a zero-tolerance policy towards unsafe practices Implementing site systems and controls in line with company standards and project requirements Producing and communicating risk assessments and methods statements Supporting the Behavioural Safety programme and usage of hazard and good practice observation reporting Leading and managing a team, organising resources, and selecting sub-contractors Ensuring project quality standards and handover requirements are met Managing all permitting and approvals, including temporary works designs and implementation Job Requirements: Experience in civil engineering with a robust technical background and expertise in highways works Knowledge of CDM Regulations and relevant specifications/testing regimes Ability to produce RAMS, Task Briefing Sheets, and safe systems of work Experience managing small teams and demonstrating good organisational skills Degree/HNC/HND in civil engineering or similar Membership with the Institution of Civil Engineers or equivalent is desirable Hold IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS, and CSCS Card Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator, First Aider, and Fire Marshall certifications are desirable Benefits: Opportunity to work on a high-profile, Tier 1 project Professional development and training opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Comprehensive benefits package If you are an experienced Site Agent looking to take on an exciting challenge and further your career within the civil engineering sector, we would love to hear from you.
