We have a full time, vacancy for a Planning Administrator at our Centre of excellence site in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Hours of work The hours of working Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 5pm and Friday 9am until 12pm (38 hours per week) – flexi time is available. What be you’ll doing? Your role is vital to our organisation. Reporting to the Planning Manager and working closely with our manufacturing supervisors, you will provide weekly manufacturing orders and guide the production planning process. Continuous system improvements are essential to enhancing the planning department’s performance. This role also includes: Updating the Key Performance Indicator list Refreshing system reports Maintaining and monitoring the Sales Progress ‘Chase’ list Creating daily plans for the ‘Wrapping Shop’ department Leading the Planning Inventory Meeting and helping optimise material usage Reporting daily and weekly On Time Delivery figures General housekeeping tasks Nesting parts for laminates What we need from you To succeed in this role, you will: Hold A-level qualifications in Maths and English or an equivalent NVQ Have prior experience in planning administration Manufacturing experience is a plus In addition to your education and experience, the following qualities define an ideal candidate: Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet strict deadlines Effective time management in a fast-paced environment Passion for continuous improvement and advancing the department A strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude Initiative and a collaborative team spirit We offer great benefits in return: An attractive and competitive salary Non -contractual bonus, linked to organisational performance.
