As a CNC Milling & Lathe Machine Programmer/Operator your responsibilities are as follows – · To set up machines with maximum efficiency. · Responsible for efficient production, including the multi-manning of machines where required. · Maintain all production paperwork packs to include MIPC Sheets / Synchro Sheets, and all associated documents. · Maintain gauging and measuring equipment currently held on the area. · To liaise with Inspection Department to ensure timely first off. · Maintain a clean and tidy environment operating within the site. · Maintain and conform to all Health and Safety requirements. · Attend meetings as required. · Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills. · Responsible for individual job improvement. Key skills required · Previous knowledge of a manufacturing environment · Multi skilled machinist (Milling/Turning) with experience of 3 & 4 axis machining in operating and in programming. · Ideally, familiarity with Fanuc & Heidenheim machine controls. · Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and associated paperwork.
