We’re looking for a proactive Buyer to join our fast-paced operations team at our manufacturing site in Telford, Shropshire.
In this key role, you’ll manage supplier relationships, negotiate purchasing contracts, and deliver cost, quality, and service improvements across our supply chain. Your work will ensure that operational requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
What You'll Do:
1. Lead purchasing activities with a focus on cost reduction, supply continuity, and quality performance
2. Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver value through smart sourcing
3. Analyse market trends and drive innovation in materials and supply systems
4. Develop long-term partnerships with suppliers and monitor their performance
5. Support lean manufacturing through effective forecasting and inventory management
What You’ll Bring:
6. Experience in a manufacturing or flexographic printing environment
7. A track record of delivering cost savings and managing supplier performance
8. Strong negotiation and communication skills with a commercial mindset
9. A hands-on, analytical, and results-driven approach
