We’re looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead one of our four Account Management teams, reporting to the Head of Account Management. You will guide and develop a team of 8 Account Managers who focus on retaining and growing a portfolio of small to mid-sized car dealerships.
Reports To: Head of Account Management. Contract Type: Permanent. Location: Richmond, UK (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of account managers to achieve individual and team sales targets.
* Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Analyse account performance metrics and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Development) to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
* Serve as primary point of contact for escalated client issues; resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.
* Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on account performance, trends, and strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
* Analytical mindset with ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
* Prior experience managing an Account Manager team with a track record of meeting and surpassing revenue, retention targets, and KPIs.
* Strong emotional intelligence and leadership skills to motivate and develop team members.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, customer-centric, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
