Job Overview
If Cisco is your main skill and you'd like to be heavily involved with projects that span the EMEA region for a global brand, then read on.
In fact, 50% of your time will be based on projects with occasional travel to one of the possible 45 locations.
Team and Location
As part of the wider UK IT Infrastructure function, you will be joining a network team of 3 permanent members that is growing due to the volume of project work already in the roadmap.
Initially based in the Southampton office, upon completion of probation you'll have the option to work 2 days a week from home.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop complex, integrated solutions
2. Perform and evaluate cost analyses and vendor comparisons for projects
3. Provide 24x7 on-call support
4. Develop technical expertise on established and emerging network and telecommunications systems
5. Communicate system operations and environment changes
6. Adhere to SOX, PCI, and other regulatory requirements
7. Understand and manage capacity, redundancy, and health constraints of systems
8. Ensure security requirements are met
9. Contribute to solution development plans and documents
10. Understand business impacts of issues related to IT solutions
11. Perform and plan major version upgrades
12. Design and implement monitoring of enterprise systems
13. Plan and manage technical projects involving other teams
14. Contribute to research on new technologies and processes
Candidate Profile
The successful Senior Network Engineer will have several years of experience with Cisco networking technology, with extra kudos if you've worked with Cisco Nexus, ACI, Cisco ASA, Cisco Wireless, Cisco DMVPN, and MPLS.
