Retail Buyer
Location: Remote (1 day per week required in office/supplier East Midlands)
Type: Permanent
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Salary: £35,000 to £38,000
About the Role
We are seeking a Retail Buyer with experience in retail or ecommerce buying to join our team. In this role, you will own your product ranges and be responsible for bringing products to market quickly. You'll work in a small, dynamic team with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop product categories, taking full ownership of sourcing specific ranges.
2. Conduct cost analysis for new products and categories to meet margin requirements.
3. Manage sales and stock reports, analyze data regularly, and implement necessary adjustments.
4. Provide detailed product information, including key features and specifications.
5. Perform competitor analysis to understand market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
6. Collaborate closely with the merchandise team.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in retail buying, range development, and promotional planning.
* Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
