Digital Marketing Executive
Catalyst is seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to play a central role within our marketing team, helping to communicate and amplify our vision for innovation across Northern Ireland. This role will support the development and delivery of creative marketing campaigns that showcase Catalyst’s programmes, partnerships, and impact within the innovation ecosystem. Working collaboratively across teams, the Marketing Executive will help create engaging content, manage digital channels, and support events and initiatives that highlight Catalyst’s mission to connect entrepreneurs, industry, academia, and investors. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated marketing professional to contribute to strengthening Northern Ireland’s reputation as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Key Information
* Full time, fixed term contract (Maternity cover) ending July 2027.
* Salary up to £31,000 per annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of Catalyst’s marketing strategy by coordinating campaigns and marketing activities that promote Catalyst to its target audiences and contribute to organisational objectives.
* Manage multiple marketing projects from initial brief through to delivery, including content planning, campaign timelines and stakeholder communication.
* Support the creation of marketing content across digital channels including website, newsletters and social media platforms.
* Coordinate email communications, including newsletters and campaign emails, and maintain relevant mailing lists and distribution channels.
* Capturing and sharing live social coverage during events to drive audience engagement.
* Measuring and reporting performance of digital marketing through online analytics tools (including Google Analytics) and assess against goals.
* Ensure all digital communications are high quality, with consistent messaging and clear alignment with Catalyst brand guidelines.
* Assist with copywriting and co-ordinating Catalyst publication.
* Maintaining our media library.
* Undertaking any other reasonable duties which fall within the remit of this role.
Qualifications
* 3+ years experience in digital marketing and communication
* Experience of social media management and ability to develop creative marketing ideas
* Experience in email/newsletter marketing
* Experience in planning, executing, and optimising digital campaigns
* Ability to analyse performance data and produce reports and an understanding of conversion and engagement metrics
* Strong proof-reading ability and copy writing skills
* Ability to prioritise and multitask to deliver to strict deadlines
* Excellent time management and organisational skill
* Good analytical thinking and problem‑solving skill
* Proven ability to work and collaborate with the wider team and external stakeholders
* Degree in marketing, business, communications, or another relevant subject
* A genuine interest in innovation and entrepreneurship, especially in the tech sector
* Working knowledge of CMS Systems
* Experience testing and optimising campaigns (A/B testing)
* Strong visual awareness and understanding of design for marketing
* Professional certificates in marketing, PR or communications
Special Requirements
* Proof of right to work in the UK
* On occasion to work evenings and weekends for events
