Job Title: Office Administrator
Responsible to: General Manager
Location: Bridgend
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Banking and daily reconciliation on schools accounts to ensure accuracy at all times.
2 Respond to member enquiries to provide an excellent customer service in person or by telephone, email or letter.
3 Maintaining and updating of members records and setting up new member accounts.
4 To undertake a range of daily administration, data processing and banking tasks to ensure the effective performance of the organisation.
5 To carry out any other duties as directed by the General Manager in furtherance of the Credit Union objectives and policies.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
Experience and/or knowledge within a customer services environment and/or office environment.
Banking/financial background preferred but not essential.
Able to work on own initiative and problem solve with minimum supervision.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong understanding of meeting the needs of members, achieving and sustaining customer satisfaction.
A good standard of education, including strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Excellent IT Skills/Qualifications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
An understanding and commitment to the principles and values of the credit union.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£13.05 per hour
