Salary: £12.60 per hour

Hours: 20 hours per week

* Enhanced payments for Bank Holidays
* Supplementary pay for Sleepover Duties

At Leeds Jewish Welfare Board (LJWB), we’ve been supporting individuals and families across North Leeds for over 145 years. We’re proud to provide essential care and support to over 1,000 people each month—and now we’re looking for someone special to join our team.

We’re on the lookout for a Support Worker who is caring, enthusiastic, and ready to be a positive presence in the lives of adults with learning disabilities. About the Role

You'll be working in one of our three well-established Kosher residential homes, all rated Good by the CQC. These homes are more than just places to live—they’re warm, welcoming communities filled with fun, laughter, and purpose.

No two days are the same! From supporting with day-to-day routines to joining residents on outings, activities, and appointments, you'll be helping each person live a happy, independent, and meaningful life.


What You'll Be Doing:

* Offering personalised care and support in daily routines
* Helping with cooking, household tasks, and maintaining a safe, happy home
* Driving/accompanying residents on outings and to appointments
* Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing every step of the way


What You’ll Need:

* A valid UK driving licence preferred
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or a willingness to complete the Care Certificate with us)
* Great communication skills – both spoken and written
* A flexible, proactive attitude – able to work weekends and bank holidays
* Experience working with people with learning disabilities (preferred)
* The right to work in the UK
