Implementation Support Officer (Speech Recognition & Digital Dictation)
Dorset HealthCare are seeking flexible, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Speech Recognition & Digital Dictation (SR&DD) project team during a Trust-wide deployment. This role will play a key part in the implementation and rollout of digital clinical documentation and AI systems across multiple sites in Dorset over a 9‑month period, requiring repeat deployment activities and ongoing support.
The role requires the ability to travel extensively to Trust sites across the county. It is a full‑time, 37.5‑hour week post that may include unsocial hours, shift work and flexible arrangements to meet the needs of the service across multiple locations.
Fixed‑term and secondment conditions: This is a fixed‑term role. For NHS staff, the position will be offered on a secondment basis only; prior permission to be released on secondment is required before applying. Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must hold a valid right to work in the UK.
* Support the deployment of the SR&DD system across Trust sites.
* Assist with service change and encourage staff engagement with new technology.
* Respond to service needs during implementation and go‑live periods.
* Provide ongoing support to ensure effective system use.
* Help troubleshoot issues and direct queries appropriately.
* Support IT teams with problem solving and user queries.
* Embed new workflows, SpeechCursor AIDA and analytics tools to improve system adoption.
* Monitor system usage and contribute to improvement of document processes.
* Assist with audit, benefit tracking and reporting activity.
* Ensure accurate data entry into systems and embed reporting tools (KPIs, dashboards, analytics).
Working hours: 8:00‑17:00 – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; Tuesday as required.
