Job Title: Warehouse Administrator / Operative

Pay: £13.30 per hour + Holiday, Pension, and Adecco Benefits
Hours: Full-time | Monday-Friday - 8:00am to 16:30pm Mon - Thurs, 8:00am - 15:30pm Fri
Contract: Temporary ongoing with the potential to go Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator / Stores Operative to join our client in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of office-based administration and hands-on warehouse work in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
This is a varied and busy position where you will play a key role in stock control and warehouse operations. You'll be responsible for keeping systems updated, supporting production, and ensuring stock is efficiently managed.
Key Responsibilities:
Issuing stock using internal systems
Monitoring stock levels and tracking shortages
Booking in new deliveries and updating records accurately
Supporting the stores and production teams with ad hoc stock requests
Maintaining accurate system data and documentation
Assisting with general warehouse duties during quieter periods, including:
Picking and packing
Sorting and organising stock
Supporting overall stores operationsWhat We're Looking For:
Confident in using computers and internal systems
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A flexible, hands-on approach to work
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
