Overview
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) brings an advanced Critical Care Team to the most seriously ill and injured patients across the region, giving them the best chance of survival and recovery. The service is delivered as a partnership between HIOWAA Charity and University Hospital Southampton.
Role and responsibilities
As part of ongoing development, we are expanding our team of Critical Care Paramedics, aiming to recruit experienced clinicians who are committed to providing the highest standards of clinical care in challenging pre-hospital circumstances. We are seeking applicants who will bring their experience and passion for pre-hospital care to our service. Initially based at our airbase in Thruxton, but at Southampton Airport from February 2026, the role is varied and developmental, requiring our clinicians to be great team members and focused on delivering outstanding patient care.
