Offer description

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the further development of our Dementia Care services as we look to support those people living in our homes and with a dementia. At MMCG we are committed to continuously look to enhance the lifestyle of our residents, whilst ensuring that our teams are supported to enable them to deliver truly person-centred care. This is a varied role, which will involve working directly with residents to meet both their physical and emotional needs; building relationships and finding those commonalities which can enhance the residents' experience; working alongside your colleagues to role model best practice, providing information, advice, and guidance where required. You will report directly into your Home Manager, supported by our MMCG Dementia Development Lead, plus a wider network of Dementia Ambassadors across the organisation.

About The Wharf Care Centre is a new high quality and luxurious care home, having been recently built in Stourport-On-Severn, in the heart of Worcestershire. The home prides itself on providing a high standard of quality care to people requiring nursing, residential, dementia, respite and daycare for all ages. The outstanding shared facilities include a cinema room, recreational spaces, dining areas and for those who like to be pampered a hair and nail salon. The home is dedicated to offering an active and stimulating lifestyle for people with all types of care needs. A daily activities programme incorporates music, baking, crafts, games and exercise classes and encourages all residents to maximise their full potential by participating as much as possible.
