Reformulating and improving existing products. Producing reports and test data to support this. Providing lab support in response to customer queries, complaints and opportunities for new product applications. Working with applicable chemical regulations to keep products compliant to the highest standards. Running their own projects and coordinating with other people that are involved in these: Communicating, organising, report-writing etc. Working with colleagues in other teams (e.g. Marketing, Factory, Sales) to provide customers with the best technical information and service. The whole Development team is responsible for keeping the lab facilities functional, safe, clean and tidy. Looking for potential areas for improvement in any Technical areas: Proposing these as projects and being willing to implement them. The training you will be getting 4 years - Level 6 Laboratory scientist Degree Site based with distance learning provided by Bradford University. The amount of hours spent working and training – 20% of time – 7hrs/wk study, 28hrs/wk work.
