We specialise in all aspects of mechanical engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education, providing solutions through the project lifecycle and client-side support as well as construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Belfast office.
Your Purpose
* Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, to high-quality levels.
* Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute input into bid proposals.
* Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
* Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Set quality assurance standards in design.
* Grow, develop and manage mechanical engineering capability within the practice.
What you can bring
* Chartered or Fellow Mechanical Engineer.
* Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant) and a deep understanding of current UK design standards and working practices.
