My client is looking for a Financial Controller to join their family run business just a few miles outside of Thirsk. The candidate will be working within a small finance team and reporting directly into a supportive Managing Director.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Production of monthly Management Accounts and supporting information
* Rolling cash flow forecasting, managing payment of Suppliers, debt collection and bank reconciliation
* Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
* Production of annual budget and quarterly forecasting
* Production of Year End Accounts and liaison with external Accountants
* Weekly and monthly departmental labour efficiency reports
* Preparation of VAT and PAYE returns
* Management of company pension schemes
* Responsible for 2 direct reports
* Preparation and presentation of reports for meetings
Ideally you will have worked in a similar level role for a SME and will be able to commute to Thirsk for this full-time, office based opportunity.
