About the Role
A growing precision engineering company based in Cheltenham is seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator (Mill-Turn) to join their expanding team. You'll be working with modern CNC Mill-Turn machinery, producing high-quality components for a range of industries, while developing your technical skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Setting and operating CNC Mill-Turn machines
Ensuring components are produced to correct tolerances and specifications
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Conducting basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Maintaining a safe and organised work area
Working closely with the Production and Quality teams to achieve targets
Ideal Candidate
You'll be an experienced CNC Setter/Operator with a strong interest in developing your programming skills and progressing within a precision engineering environment.
Essential Requirements
CNC Mill-Turn setting and operating experience
Ability to read and understand engineering and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality-driven approach
Good problem-solving skills
Reliable, proactive, and motivated to develop new skills
Desirable (Not Essential)
Experience with Fanuc or similar control systems
Exposure to Mill-Turn or multi-axis environments
Background in precision engineering sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, or Defence
