What You’ll Do
As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with ASD
* Assist with personalised learning plans and behaviour support strategies
* Foster communication, confidence, and independence
* Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents
* Help create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment
* Adapt resources and teaching methods to meet individual needs
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with ASD, SEN, ALN, or additional needs (highly desirable)
* A caring, calm, and patient attitude
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to adapt quickly and use initiative
* Relevant qualifications (Teaching Assistant Level 2/3, ALN/SEN training) welcomed
* Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
