Maintenance Engineer - Static Nights
Location: Telford
Shift: Nights, 4 on 4 off (7pm - 7am, static shift)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

About the Role as a Maintenance Engineer
Our client is experiencing exciting growth and expansion and they’re looking for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer (70% mechanical, 30% electrical) to join their night shift team. This permanent role operates on a 4 on, 4 off static rota from 7pm to 7am. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical skills complemented by electrical knowledge, playing a vital role in maintaining efficient and reliable production.
Key Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, focusing mainly on mechanical systems with electrical duties as required
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance best practices
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
* Work closely with the team to meet production and maintenance goals
What We’re Looking For as a Maintenance Engineer
* Experience in mechanical maintenance with solid electrical knowledge (approx. 70/30 split)
* Ability and willingness to work nights on a 4 on 4 off static rota
* Strong problem-solving skills and effective fault-finding across mechanical and electrical areas
