Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
* Build robust API integrations (REST and GraphQL) that connect apps to backend and social features.
* Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver seamless experiences.
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong attention to performance and scalability.
* Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
* Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
* Stay current with Android development trends, frameworks, and libraries.
Success Measurement
* Delivery of high‑quality, API‑driven Android features aligned with product goals.
* Quality and stability of integrations with backend services.
* Effective cross‑team collaboration to ship end‑to‑end features.
* Growth in technical capability and ownership over time.
Qualifications
* 3‑5+ years of professional Android development experience.
* Proficiency in Kotlin, with a strong foundation in Android frameworks and Jetpack libraries.
* Proven experience building and maintaining complex API integrations (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC).
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, unit/UI testing frameworks, and monitoring tools.
* Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and profiling tools.
* Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, etc.).
