AGHotels Group is seeking a seasoned and highly organised professional to join our team as Duty Manager at our newly acquired Beacon Hotel in Cardiff.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the face of the hotel, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
* Lead and motivate the reception team to deliver outstanding service and uphold our standards.
* Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy and take on few reception shifts as per the business needs.
* Resolve guest issues with tact and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience.
* Efficiently manage staff schedules to meet operational demands.
* Conduct training sessions for the reception team, emphasizing service excellence and brand standards.
* Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and address challenges promptly.
* Uphold high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction.
* Help in other departments when required.
Qualifications Required
* Experience in a reception or front-of-house management role.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of hotel management systems (Opera, Rezlynx or similar).
* Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays is required for this role.
