Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in multiple areas of construction, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties
* Construct and assemble building frameworks using wood, metal, or other materials.
* Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and finishing work.
* Execute construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures.
* Carry out plumbing installations and repairs as required.
* Engage in masonry work for building walls, patios, and other structures.
* Utilise welding techniques for metal fabrication and repairs.
* Conduct electrical installations and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete various tasks.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements
* Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the construction industry.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* A valid driver's licence may be required for transportation to job sites.
