As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the people agenda across Heathrow’s non‑operational business areas.
A trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will proactively identify, plan and deliver people solutions that drive organisational performance, strengthen leadership capability and support business transformation. You will build strong, credible relationships, providing both strategic insight and constructive challenge to enable leaders to achieve their objectives.
Partnering closely with Directors and Leadership Teams across corporate and specialist functions, you will lead the development and implementation of people strategies that align with Heathrow’s overall vision and strategic priorities. Working collaboratively across the People team, you will ensure the delivery of commercial, value‑added solutions that support business performance, organisational effectiveness and colleague engagement.
You will also support the design and delivery of long‑term people plans that continue to evolve Heathrow’s culture, build diverse talent pipelines, enhance leadership capability and create an inclusive, high‑performing environment where colleagues can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Directors and Leadership Teams to develop and deliver impactful people plans aligned to business objectives.
- Drive performance and engagement through effective coaching, challenge and leadership support.
- Translate business priorities into clear, commercially focused people strategies.
- Provide expert HR guidance across employee relations, reward, talent, development and people services.
- Support leaders in building a high‑performance culture aligned to Heathrow’s values and behaviours.
- Collaborate with Senior HRBPs and Centres of Excellence to share best practice and deliver consistent people solutions.
- Lead strategic workforce and talent planning, including succession planning and future skills capability.
- Deliver organisational change initiatives and track key people metrics to ensure successful outcomes and long‑term impact.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable business partnering experience with senior leadership teams with a proven track record of coaching and developing individuals, teams, functions to higher performance
- Experience and knowledge of all aspects of HR including Employee Relations, Organisational Design, Resourcing, Talent Management and Reward preferably in a unionised environment
- Experience of delivering robust, commercial HR solutions across a complex environment
- In depth experience in managing and embedding Change from an HR perspective
- Relevant HR qualification or equivalent work experience CIPD Level 7
