Learning & Development Business Partner
Salary + £6,000 Car allowance + other fantastic benefits
Scantec Recruitment is partnering with a leading food manufacturing group to recruit a Learning & Development Business Partner. Due to growth and functional evolution, this is an exciting regional role supporting three food manufacturing sites in Cardiff and other locations in Wales/Wiltshire.
This role requires travel to all three sites; however, hybrid working is available, with most time spent at the Cardiff site, the largest among them.
This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about people development, allowing you to implement strategy and create development programmes across multiple sites, working directly with leadership teams.
Core Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior leadership to identify and develop individuals and teams.
* Create and implement learning strategies and programmes across the region, including capability assessments and development needs analysis.
* Conduct various people development methods (e.g., coaching, mentoring, facilitation, leadership delivery) and design diverse learning interventions, including technical, behavioural, and leadership programmes.
* Utilise group LMS reporting tools to generate management information and provide insights to the business.
* Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, blended learning solutions, and other development options, requiring experience in content creation and delivery.
* Plan and deliver strategic Continuous Improvement development plans using digital tools to create flexible learning programmes.
* Embed a group coaching culture and promote continuous professional development (CPD). Evaluate the impact of learning initiatives on performance.
* Participate actively in the broader People team, staying updated on external L&D trends and best practices.
Ideal Experience and Skills:
Candidates should have experience in a similar Learning and Development leadership role, with a background in business partnering with leadership teams. A degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., CIPD membership) is advantageous.
An L&D or coaching qualification is preferred but not essential, as coaching qualifications will be part of your development plan.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders, colleagues, and leadership teams. Knowledge of effective learning methods, e-learning platforms, and practices is desirable.
