Science Teacher
* Job Type: Part-time, Temporary
* Location: Peterborough
* Hours: Mon, Tues, & Thurs 8:45am-3:35pm; Wed 8:45am-4:30pm; Fri 8:45am-2:55pm
We are seeking a Science Teacher to teach secondary science up to GCSE level.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging science lessons to secondary students up to GCSE level.
* Ensure a stimulating learning environment that promotes student interest in science.
* Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
* Mark students' work and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Maintain classroom discipline and uphold the school's teaching standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Science.
* Experience teaching science at secondary level, including preparation for GCSE exams.
* Strong communication skills with a clear English speaking voice.
* A dynamic personality that resonates well with students.
* Ability to engage and inspire students in the subject matter.
