Job Description
Gentech Recruitment is partnering with our client based in Craigavon to recruit a Fabricator/Welder Supervisor. The role involves overseeing fabrication and welding activities, liaising with senior staff, and ensuring compliance with standards.
1. Read and understand pipe fabrication drawings for each project.
2. Fabricate pipe sets for various diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipes ranging from 65mm to 500mm).
3. Ensure adherence to welding procedures and proper pipe preparation and fit-up.
4. Coordinate with line managers regarding defects, safety issues, and non-conformances.
5. Manage workload to ensure timely progress according to specifications.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Previous MIG and TIG welding experience.
* Fabrication experience.
* Supervisory experience.
