Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:
Managing a team of Residential workers and coordinating staffing rotas
Working together with the Local Authority to ensure effective matching and placement of young people
Creating a culture and ethos where the complex needs of the individual young people and the group are met
Quality assuring transition plans, ensuring that these plans are aspirational in terms of supporting the children to achieve.
Ensure that the physical environment of the home always remains at a high standard
Holding team meetings to share information, practice development and share any arising issues with the management team for resolution
Attending a variety of formal meetings to represent the Service and/or on behalf of the Children's Services Manager
Contributing to service development
This role includes an expectation of on call working, though this is shared with both the Deputy and Ops Manager.
To be considered for this Registered Manager position you must have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Residential setting
Experience managing a SEMH/EBD Residential Home
The Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare / Children and Young People
The Level 4 in Management and Leadership
A Driving Licence and access to a vehicle. Manual Licence preferred.
The ability to Complete necessary OFSTED related Paperwork
A passion for creating positive memories and experiences for children ensuring that they feel cared for, safe and secure.
Evidence of most recent OFSTED Inspection and URN Number preferred.
