Position: Business Intelligence Analyst - Community Safety
Employer: Warwickshire County Council
Employment type: Permanent, Full-time – 37 hours per week
Location: Primary base in Shire Hall (Warwick). 1–2 days per week on site, remaining days working from home, with a requirement to work a day from Police Headquarters Leek Wootton 2–4 times per month (to be agreed).

About the Role
As a Business Intelligence Analyst within the Community Safety team, you will support the Community Safety Partnerships by delivering a community safety specific analytical work programme. Your analysis will identify trends and patterns in crime and disorder, using Police and other community safety partnership agency datasets, to find links between people, places and events. You will develop inferences and provide insights to explain what is happening, and make recommendations that aid decision‑making and service delivery, allowing the effective targeting of local partnership resources within a challenging financial environment.
Responsibilities
* Collect, analyse and present data from Police and community safety partnership agencies.
* Identify trends and patterns in crime and disorder datasets.
* Link people, places and events to uncover relationships and provide explainable insights.
* Deliver evidence and recommendations to support decision‑making and resource allocation.
* Maintain up‑to‑date analytical models and visualisations using Microsoft suite tools.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Degree level study or equivalent experience in data collection, analysis and presentation.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite and data manipulation tools.
* Police vetted to NPPV Level 2 (FULL) and DBS checked; residency in the UK for a minimum of three years.
* Visa sponsorship not available.
