Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing highway construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and standards
2. Conducting regular site inspections and monitoring construction activities
3. Identifying and reporting any potential issues or discrepancies promptly
4. Collaborating closely with contractors and project teams to ensure quality standards are met
5. Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to on site
6. Maintaining detailed records of construction progress and inspections
7. Providing expert advice and recommendations to enhance project outcomes

Job Requirements:
1. Extensive experience in highway construction and inspection
2. Strong understanding of construction standards, regulations, and best practices
3. Ability to identify and address construction issues and discrepancies
4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
6. Strong organisational skills for site record-keeping and reporting
7. Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
8. Previous experience in an inspector role within the construction industry
