The Role: Network & Pre-Sales Solutions Architect will work collaboratively across both the pre-sales team and the wider networking team. The role presents a great opportunity for an experienced Technology professional to bring their expertise and experience to shape strategic direction while supporting clients Digital Transformation journey.

You will bring a mix of technology and business skills to help our client envision the full benefits of cloud migration and digital transformation by working closely with both Sales, Product and Engineering teams at ITPS.


Responsibilities

* Define and solve complex technology and business problems with client and ITPS teams, with a consulting-led approach.
* Drive ITPS growth by articulating and presenting solutions in language that customers understand.
* Build and maintain close and long-term working relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Be a “t-shaped” individual, as the ‘technical authority’ for ITPS proposals in cloud, networking, security, on premises and managed solutions.
* Lead bids, organising activity to ensure timely bid submission to meet agreed deadlines.
* Build strong relationships with vendor commercial and technical contacts.
* Lead and support Product and Service development: working alongside ITPS senior management, other consultants, and support engineers.
* Own the solution end-to-end, ensuring client success by liaising with delivery teams as solutions are installed and go live.
* Act as an ambassador for the company, to raise profile, branding and credibility within the market.
* Support and prepare material and present at ITPS webinars, workshops, industry and company events.


Experience & Qualifications

* Educated to degree level or equivalent (desired)
* Industry Qualifications (Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, VMWare, Security etc)
* An in depth understanding of Public / Private / Hybrid Cloud Solutions and experienced in integrating public Cloud into traditional architecture models with a specific focus on Azure.
* Extensive experience in conducting Cloud Readiness / Migration / Planning from a business and technical perspective.
* Proven expertise in designed and architecting cloud infrastructure for data platforms.
* Knowledge of the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework(s), Infrastructure-as-Code, Azure DevOps and Deployment of Infrastructure via Azure DevOps and Associated methodology.
* Managed Service Provider specific experience around support, projects, and technical pre-sales processes.
* Experience of enterprise LAN/WAN, Wireless, Firewall and next generation firewall technologies.
* Experience of Cloud / Datacentre Migrations.
* At least 5 years + working experience delivering technical cloud, networking design and implementation of solutions to customers.

* Ability to articulate the technical components and implementation approaches to successfully implement Cloud Technology solutions.
* Excellent customer orientation and the ability to engender this culture throughout the solution definition process and communicate this to others.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening) including an excellent telephone manner and strong customer first focused skills.
* Self-motivator, results and quality orientated, good organisational skills, attention to details, positive helpful attitude.
* The ability to work under pressure, demonstrating drive and a positive approach to work
