Overview
Linwood School is an outstanding (Ofsted January 2025) multi-campus, day special school for children and young people aged 3 - 19. We are seeking to appoint an experienced and skilled Caretaker to join our friendly Premises Team responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the school. This is a permanent, full-time post based initially at our Linwood Campus on Alma Road, Winton. The pay range for this role will be £28,142 - £31,537 from 1 December 2025. The role is fundamental to ensuring a safe, calm and welcoming environment for our students. The successful candidate will work a maximum of 37 hours per week, between 7:30am and 6pm, with shifts on a rota to cover opening and closing of school campuses.

* Ability to follow direction from Premises Manager/Deputy Premises Manager.
* Team player, but able and willing to use your own initiative.
* Able to work at any of our campuses.
* Basic ICT skills to log and record accidents/incidents or safeguarding concerns as well as log all compliance matters, meter readings and safety checks.
