Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Resource Manager to take ownership of staffing strategy across consulting teams. You will play a key role in balancing client demand, consultant development, and overall business performance. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while ensuring optimal utilisation and effective workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end‑to‑end resource management process across multiple consulting teams.
* Partner closely with Partners and Engagement Managers to align staffing with project requirements and pipeline demand.
* Proactively monitor utilisation, managing bench and identifying resourcing risks and gaps.
* Deliver forward‑looking capacity and demand planning insights to support business growth.
* Balance project needs with individual development goals to support talent retention and progress.
* Provide reporting and analytics to inform hiring and workforce strategy.
* Continuously improve resourcing processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in resource management, workforce planning, or scheduling, ideally within consulting or professional services.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
* A highly organized and solutions‑oriented approach.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to balance competing priorities.
* Strong analytical capability, with experience using resourcing or workforce management tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
