Job title: Retrofit Coordinator
Salary: £42,000/Yr. - £47,000/Yr. depending on experience
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hybrid Working: 2 days/week in the office (negotiable alongside site-visits)
About the Role:
We are recruiting for a Retrofit Coordinator to manage retrofit projects from inception to completion, ensuring full compliance with PAS 2035 standards. This role requires acting in the best interests of clients - including occupants, landlords, and funding organisations - as well as the wider public.
You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of retrofit projects, coordinating activities, managing risks, and ensuring projects meet all required quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Agree intended project outcomes with clients and revisit these where necessary.
2. Conduct project risk assessments to determine PAS 2035 pathways.
3. Oversee Whole-Dwelling Assessments conducted by qualified Retrofit Assessors.
4. Produce Improvement Option Evaluations to identify suitable measures.
5. Develop Medium-Term Improvement Plans for individual properties or property types.
6. Confirm agreed measures for immediate installation with clients.
7. Collaborate with Retrofit Designers to ensure designs are fully informed and compliant.
8. Monitor the design, specification, and installation of retrofit measures.
9. Oversee testing, completion, and handover processes.
10. Ensure that residents and landlords receive energy advice at key project stages.
11. Conduct project evaluations and provide feedback to clients and delivery teams.
12. Compile and submit compliance evidence in line with PAS 2035 requirements.
13. Perform additional monitoring where project outcomes have not met expectations.
Experience and Skills Required:
14. Essential: Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management (PAS 2035 compliance).
15. Desireable: TrustMark accreditation and proven practical experience in retrofit coordination.
16. Experience in project or programme management is highly desirable.
17. Strong interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to engage a range of audiences.
18. Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
19. Experience providing technical advice and advocacy across project life cycles.
20. Proficient in conducting risk assessments in the built environment sector.
21. Excellent organisation, coordination, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
