The Scottish Institute for Policing Research (SIPR) is a strategic collaboration between 14 of Scotlands Universities (including Edinburgh Napier University) along with Police Scotland and the Scottish Police Authority.
We aim to support internationally excellent, multi-disciplinary policing research to enable evidence informed policy and practice, achieved through our four aims: research, knowledge exchange, learning and innovation, and partnerships.
Currently, we have an opportunity for a SIPR Administrator to join us on a fixed-term, part-time basis and provide essential operational, governance and logistical support across SIPRs core functions, while acting as the main coordination and organisational point for SIPRs internal and external activities.
The Role:
As SIPR Administrator, you will be instrumental in supporting the institutions achievement of our aims. Your existing admin experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be good grounding for you to effectively undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks, working directly with SIPRs Knowledge Exchange and Business Manager, as well as the SIPR Leadership team when required.
