Job Overview
We are looking for a Mobile Seed Plant Operator to join the Frontier team, based at Nayland on a permanent, full‑time basis.
You will be responsible for driving to farms and processing farm‑saved seed, checking quality of the seed, taking samples and maintaining mobile machinery while ensuring the site and machinery are clean and tidy and health and safety processes are always adhered to. Alongside this role you will support the workshop fabrication team with the in‑house manufacture of our bespoke mobile seed processors.

About You
* Full UK driving licence required (HGV Class 2 would be an advantage but full training will be given)
* Previous agricultural, mechanical or grain handling experience would be an advantage; full training will be provided (PA1 & PA11 – Seed Treatment Handling & Application)
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
* Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
Your Role
* Run the mobile seed plant to clean and treat various products
* Service the mobile seed plant to required standards
* Supervise support staff whilst operating on the customer’s premises
* Assist the Site Manager to carry out regular safety checks
* Organise loading of chemical and bag requirements onto vehicles, as per customer orders
* Deliver crop protection products during periods of the year
