We are seeking a skilled Events Manager to oversee and deliver high-quality events within the professional services industry. This role is based in London and requires expertise in event planning and execution for a marketing and business development apartment. Client Details The client is a leading law firm in London Description Mentor and support the Events Assistant. Deliver strategic client and BD-led events aligned with firm strategy. Assist the Senior Manager with firmwide events, sponsorships, and key programmes. Lead senior networking initiatives, including topics, speakers, and guest management. Oversee conference operations and agency relationships. Manage event memberships, debentures, and supplier negotiations for cost efficiency. Deliver events supporting firm priorities (Alumni, D&I, Responsible Business). Coordinate major internal events and manage event budgets. Share market insights and promote best-practice event management. Develop, present, and execute event proposals to achieve strategic goals. Maintain strong supplier and stakeholder communication to maximise ROI.Profile Minimum seven years' event management experience in a professional services environment. Formal qualifications in events or marketing preferred. Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior management and stakeholders. Strong creative, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal). Confident presenter, able to engage senior audiences with clarity and enthusiasm. Skilled at influencing stakeholders and driving event strategies. Results-driven with a track record of overcoming challenges and delivering solutions. Experienced in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects to deliver exceptional client experiences. Strategic thinker with strong awareness of the firm's position in the external market.
