General responsibilities can include:
* Ensure that room set ups and break downs for all events are carried out to company standards
* Deal with customers in a prompt and professional manner
* Address any complaints effectively
* Deliver staff briefings for events
* Ensure the security of the premises, stock, and cash, following the company cash handling procedures
* Record open and close stock counts, monitoring levels of stock and liaising with the cellar team
* Follow the management pack to log any wastage or report incidents
* Responsible for use of tills and PDQs
* First point of call for dealing with issues on the day and liaising with the area manager
The successful Bar Supervisor / Manager will have the following:
* Previous experience in Bar / Retail / Catering Events in a Supervisor / Manager capacity
* The ability to empower and lead a team
* Ability to build relationships and promote a positive work environment
* Ability to identify strong team members and recommend upskilling
