Scotland's Railway covers a large geographical area, providing rapid access along busy commuter routes to seven cities, servicing both business and leisure travelers, including cross-border and rural services. We operate up to 50 freight services daily and aim to grow capacity. Our mission is to respond to passenger and freight needs responsibly, challenge unsafe practices, and prioritize safety and wellbeing.
Brief Description
The Access Co-ordinator arranges track access to support efficient delivery of maintenance and third-party works, producing and maintaining the Delivery Unit Possession Plan.
Key Accountabilities
1. Manage access and isolation requests for the Delivery Unit.
2. Produce and manage the Delivery Unit Period Possession Plan.
3. Optimize the use of possessions and isolations.
4. Submit possession and Temporary Speed Restriction requests via the Possession Planning System (PPS).
5. Manage the possession change control process.
6. Process isolation requests and coordinate with the Isolation Planner.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
* Knowledge of access planning processes and systems.
* Understanding of relevant standards and procedures.
* Knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques.
* Familiarity with the operational railway environment.

Salary: £29,000 to £33,000
