We are hiring an Events Manager to join our Global Marketing Team. The role’s core objective is to develop and oversee all aspects of our global events strategy. This includes pre and post marketing campaigns, tradeshow participation, speaker opportunities, sponsorships and Janes hosted events to accelerate growth across our key target market.
Responsibilities
1. Working with the Marketing and Sales leaders, develop a detailed marketing and events and plan, focused on increasing Janes visibility in our core markets and raising Janes profile within our key target accounts.
2. Create and execute integrated pre- and post-event marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive awareness of Janes participation.
3. Working closely with Janes Product Marketing, Creative Marketing and Product Management teams, develop compelling Brand Awareness campaigns to showcase how Janes solutions meet our customers need.
4. Marketing tech – Utilise the marketing tech stack to optimise the success of marketing campaigns and analyse delivery and performance including (HubSpot, DemandBase, Vidyard, Google analytics, social media, etc.)
5. Communicate and collaborate with all internal stakeholders to shape the marketing event strategy and manage all event planning sessions, briefings and debriefs to internal stakeholders for each event.
6. Frequent reporting on event performance and strategy directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and Commercial teams.
7. Effective project management across teams, including ownership and adherence to timelines and accurately tracking and evaluating results on overall project goals.
8. Marketing technology – Utilise the marketing tech stack to optimise the success of campaigns and analyse delivery and performance.
9. Stay aligned with industry best practice, keeping abreast of latest practices, technologies and principles.
10. Manage all aspects of global event bookings, logistics and on-site execution of Janes events including tradeshows, user conferences and briefings, effectively managing and communicating frequently with all attending stakeholders.
Requirements
11. Strategic but “hands-on” approach to event marketing
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to master our brand voice.
13. Experience using HubSpot Marketing Automation system or similar
14. Ideally familiar with the Defence and Security domain.
15. Significant experience in a similar role.
16. Solid understanding of commercial requirements and experience with working to deadlines and commercial targets.
17. Ability to manage and prioritise multiple campaigns, and work with a wide range of stakeholders within an organisation.
18. Creative and organised with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and time management abilities.
19. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or industry recognised qualification. (preferable)
