Head of Digital Delivery
Remote - UK travel required
We're looking for an experienced digital leader to guide the strategy and delivery of Digital and IoT solutions across our Asset Management function. In this role, you'll shape smart asset technologies, automation, data platforms, and analytics that improve performance, strengthen customer outcomes, support sustainability goals, and drive long-term value.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading the Digital Delivery and IoT strategy, ensuring it supports organisational priorities.
* Overseeing the design, integration, security, and lifecycle of digital and IoT solutions.
* Delivering impactful digital programmes using agile, transparent, and collaborative approaches.
* Building digital capability within teams and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
* Creating strong partnerships with colleagues, suppliers, and technology partners.
* Promoting secure‑by‑design principles, data quality, and safe system operation.

About you:
* Significant experience delivering digital transformation and IoT programmes in operational or asset‑intensive settings.
* Deep understanding of IoT, cloud/edge technologies, systems integration, and data platforms.
* Track record of delivering digital change programmes with measurable benefits.
* Expertise in systems integration, cyber‑secure architectures, and data management frameworks.
* Experience implementing digital twins, AI/ML analytics, or predictive maintenance systems
* Comfortable explaining complex ideas to a range of audiences.
* Skilled in supplier, contract, and stakeholder management.
* Experience in Operational Technology and SCADA environments.
* Qualification in software, engineering, or a related discipline (HNC or above preferred, or equivalent experience).
* Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets.
* Ability to operate in line with the Galliford Try Leadership Framework.
