Early Years Teacher (EYFS)

Are you an enthusiastic, nurturing Early Years Teacher with a passion for giving children the very best start in their learning journey? We're looking for dedicated EYFS practitioners to join our team and work across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Wakefield and South Leeds area.
About the Role
You'll be joining friendly, supportive school communities where you'll play a key role in shaping early learning experiences. As an EY Teacher, you will:
* Create a warm, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
* Plan and deliver engaging EYFS-aligned lessons
* Support children's early development across all areas of learning
* Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
* Use observations and assessments to track progress
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and early years team
Placements range from short-term cover to long-term roles, depending on your preference.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in EYFS (school-based or placement experience)
* A nurturing, child-centred approach
* Strong understanding of early childhood development
* Creativity, energy and a passion for early learning
* Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments

We work with schools across: Wakefield, Pontefract, Castleford, Morley, Rothwell, Middleton, Beeston, Tingley, Hunslet and surrounding areas.
